Coastal Valley Imaging introduces truly state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas Valley region. With the installation of our Siemens AVANTO high field MRI unit December 2006, we now provide the greatest neurological, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and whole body MRI capabilities. The new ultra short bore MRI creates the most detailed images ever while allowing unparalleled patient comfort and examination speed. The goal of Coastal Valley Imaging is to provide world class imaging in a locally available and patient friendly environment. To this end we have merged cutting edge technology with the most highly trained experts in exam performance and interpretation.

Our commitment to you providing the finest imaging experience starts with our investment in the absolute best equipment. We then recruited the two most experienced MR technologists available in the United States, who have over 35 years of combined experience. Finally our four newest radiologist physicians are all fellowship trained in cross sectional imaging. Our MR program is headed by an internationally renowned MR specialist who was formerly the head of MRI at Northwestern University in Chicago (one of the busiest MR centers in the world). His wealth of MR expertise including specialized cardiac and vascular MRI experience augments our well rounded imaging staff.
